What Tonify collects

Nothing about you, from the app. Your videos and the audio files it makes stay on your iPhone: the app has no upload path for them. There is no advertising identifier, no analytics SDK and no account.

Photos and Files

The app never asks for access to your photo library. iOS's own picker hands over only the single file you choose, and that file is copied into the app's own storage so it can be read. Files you convert are written to the app's Documents folder, which appears in the Files app under On My iPhone › Tonify.

Subscriptions

Purchases go through Apple. To know whether your subscription is active we use RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous user identifier generated on your device, your purchase history, and the country of your App Store account. We also attach three non-personal facts to help us improve onboarding: which use you picked on the first screen, whether you tried the demo, and how long it took. None of this identifies you, and none of it is used for advertising or shared with advertisers.

The contact form

If you write to us through tonify.app, we store your message, the name and email you type, your language, a hashed form of your IP address for rate limiting, and your browser's user-agent string. We keep it until the question is resolved, and we do not use it for anything else.

Diagnostics

The app writes a technical log of each conversion — format, settings, durations, error messages. It stays on your device. Nothing is sent unless you choose to share it with us, and it never contains the contents of your files.

Children

Tonify is not directed at children and collects no personal data from anyone.

Your rights

Since the app stores nothing about you on our side, there is normally nothing to request or delete. If you wrote to us, email support@tonify.app and we will delete the message.

If this policy changes in a way that matters, the date below changes with it.
